Papa's homemade sling shot is now a family tradition.

Papa is deadly with a sling shot. He loves shooting little rocks at targets, for fun, with his sling shot he made for hisself. Papa finally made Trey his own little handcarved sling shot. It seems so small. It is the perfect size for his little hand. The handle is carved out of Hickory. It is smooth as silk so he doesn't get any splinters. It is beautiful.

Papa brought it down tonight, gave it to him, gave him a quick little tutorial (inside cause it's still raining) and promised to shoot rocks tomorrow outside to see how far Trey could make them go. Trey loves it. He cant wait to shoot tomorrow and let Velvet fetch the rocks then bring them back. Thanks Papa. It's great to be a country boy.

I think this is now one of my favorite pictures ever. The looks on both faces say's everything I could ever want to say about the two of them.
